How to switch on two-factor authentication

Two-factor means that in addition to the password, a code from your phone is needed.

Go to Settings → Security, press switch on, and scan the code with an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator or another. Type in the code shown to confirm.

Save the backup codes you are given. They are the only way in if you lose your phone.

It is worth switching on for an account that can call out and send messages at your expense.
