It does not understand our names and technical terms

Proper nouns that a speech model has never heard fall apart over a phone line. The clinic's name, the practitioners' names, the services and the street names people say.

Under Pronunciation you can add the words so speech recognition knows them in advance. Write:

• the company name
• all employees' names
• services with a technical term in them
• words you have heard go wrong in a real call

The fastest way to build the list is backwards: listen to five calls, and add the words that were misunderstood. Then you hit the ones that actually matter, instead of guessing.

Where to add them

Settings → Pronunciation. The words apply to all your assistants immediately.

If a word keeps going wrong, try writing it as it SOUNDS instead of as it is spelled. Speech recognition hears sound, not spelling.
