What happens if we use more minutes than the plan?

Nothing stops. Minutes beyond the plan's allowance are charged at the per-minute rate belonging to your plan, and they appear as their own line on the invoice — one line per month with that month's rate.

The price falls the larger the plan. If you consistently use more minutes than the plan includes, it is usually cheaper to upgrade than to pay for the overage.

Under Usage you can see how much has been used in the current period, and what the expected next bill comes to — itemised.

Where to see usage

Settings → Subscription. There you will find the month's usage and the expected bill, itemised.
