Getting started with SMS

SMS is an add-on, and it can also be bought entirely without a phone plan.

1. Choose a package under SMS. The package decides how many segments are included per month.
2. Write a template for what you want to send — a reminder, a confirmation, a receipt.
3. Switch the flow on. Then the message is sent automatically when the event happens.

The sender is your company name, not a number. The recipient can therefore see who is writing, but not reply — if you want to be able to receive replies, that requires two-way on one of your own numbers.

Where to do it

Settings → SMS. The package is chosen at the top, and the flows are under SMS → Flow in the top menu.

If you want to receive replies, two-way is switched on in the same place — it requires one of your own numbers and is free.
