Which services may the assistant book?

You open up each service individually under Services. The assistant can only book the ones you have switched on, and only for the duration you have set aside.

Start with what has a fixed duration and does not require a judgement: a check-up, a dental cleaning, a tyre change, an annual service.

Leave out the things where the duration depends on what you find. Those it should take a message about or transfer — an appointment set aside incorrectly costs more than a call that was transferred.

The most common mistake is to open everything up on day one and shut it down again after a week. The opposite works better: open up a little, and expand when the calendar has held.

Where to set it

Settings → Services. Every service has a switch called "the assistant may book it". Switch it off for anything that should not be booked after a minute-and-a-half conversation.

The service stays in the calendar — you can still book it by hand. The switch only applies to the assistant.
