How to get started — the five steps

There are five things to put in place. Together they take about ten minutes.

1. Create the account and confirm your email and phone number.
2. Create your first assistant. The guide takes you through the steps and saves as you go — you do not have to finish in one sitting.
3. Write what it should be able to do. Start with the five to ten things people actually call about. See "How to write a good instruction".
4. Add opening hours, so it knows when to transfer and when to take a message.
5. Choose a number — either one you buy from us, or your own through call forwarding.

Once the five are in place, you can call the number and hear it for yourself. That is the test that is worth something — not a walkthrough on screen.

Where to begin

Assistants → New assistant. Opening hours are set afterwards under Settings → Telephony, and the number under Settings → Telephony → Numbers.

If you get stuck on a step, the guide saves as you go — you can close it and come back.
